SEAMERCO Industrial Group designs & offers canned pickled cucumber production lines in different capacities and uses. Depending on the type of exploitation and packaging method, the canned pickled cucumber production line includes preparation, production, packaging, and facilities. By making changes in some parts of the machines, including adding or changing the capacity and type of function, it is possible to produce canned pickled cucumbers in the form of premium, special, super special, zero, etc., with packaging in glass, cans, and 17 kg bottles. The cucumber canning production line is manufactured by SEAMERCO Industrial Group in capacities of 3 to 12 tons. The number of cucumbers entering the production line and packaging is 500,750 in glass packaging, 3,000,5,000 grams in can packaging, and 17,000 grams in Aleppo-designed and manufactured packaging. All SEAMERCO industrial group lines have 18months warranty and 10 years after-sales service.

Canned Pickled Production line machinery


After the cucumbers are poured on the surface of the roller sorting machine, they are placed between the rotating rollers; there is a distance between each roller and the following roller so that if the diameter of the cucumber is smaller than the distance between the rollers, it passes and is transferred to the special holding tank under the machine.

Washing tub

Washing consists of two stages. First, the cucumbers are transferred into the washing tub by a lifter, and the bean blower carries it out to separate the mud stuck from the cucumbers. The cucumbers are thoroughly soaked and ready for final washing.

Rotary wash

The washed cucumbers are transferred to the rotary washing machine by the elevator. Rotary washing has a chamber with grooves close to each other and at the same distance to prevent the cucumbers from leaving the machine. The cucumbers are moved by rotating the device’s room, and with a nozzle inside the chamber, compressed water is poured on the cucumbers to finish washing them.

Picking cucumber flowers

After washing, the cucumbers are entered into the dehydrator to separate their plant stems from the cucumbers. For this purpose, the round rods covered with rubber bands placed horizontally and parallel each other are driven by a gearbox connected to an electric motor. They rotate against each other; between the round bars the cucumbers are placed in the groove, their plant stem is stuck and separated from the cucumber, and the cucumbers are guided outwards on the roller surface of this device.

Soaking machine

The soaking machine has a conveyor belt and needles connected to a metal plate; the desired scale is connected to a lever that, with each rotation, the arrows vertically approach the surface of the conveyor belt. As the cucumbers pass over the surface of this conveyor, the needles hit the cucumbers and make holes in the bodies of the cucumbers.

Inspection desk

After that, it is necessary to check the cucumbers for filling by the operators, and if there are any damaged cucumbers or wastes with the cucumbers, they should be separated from them. Usually, the surface of the inspection bar is designed and built with a height of 80 cm and a width of 60 cm so that the operators can access the cucumbers from the sides. Next to the inspection bar are surfaces for separating waste from cucumbers.

Traffic tray

A traffic tray device is used to move empty cans from a pallet to the production line. The operator places several cans on the machine’s tray, which rotates and creates centrifugal force. The cans exit from the outlet on one side of the engine and are placed on the next device individually.

Jar washer before filling

To ensure proper hygiene, cans must be sterilized before filling. This machine has nozzles that fix and dry each empty can as it passes underneath. As a result, the cans are left clean, dry, and ready to be filled.

Jars dryer

A glass machine or can cleaner is used to be sterilized before filling the contents in the jar or can. Sterilization process is done by passing each container under the water vapor nozzle in a compressed form and wind nozzle to dry.


The rotary filler has a conveyor belt to guide the glasses to the rotary chamber, where the cucumbers are transferred from the inspection belt device by the elevator so that the cucumbers fall into the glasses with each rotation. This work is continuous and pouring; the jars are filled with cucumbers, and before the pots are removed, some of the cucumbers are removed from the surface of the glass.

Inspection and control desk

According to the type of cucumber filling by the filling machine inside the jars, the operators must review the cucumber filling inside the jars. The glass can have a uniform surface.


Saltwater, vinegar solution, and permitted additives must be added to canned pickles according to a special formulation as a liquid part. This formulation has a special composition and method of preparation, which is usually considered a specialized skill in the hands of production managers of canning factories. A formulation machine should be used to combine and make a unique solution for canned pickled cucumbers. The formulation has a tank in the lower part and a tank in the upper part; the lower tank has a jacket (water vapor wall) and a high-speed mixer to combine water, salt, vinegar, permitted acids, pepper, etc. The upper tank for storage has a jacket and a mixer with a lower speed.

Liquid filler

A micro-shower or pneumatic solution device is used to add the solution made by the formulation to the jars filled with cucumbers. When the dishes pass under the shower, the prepared solution is showered in the micro-shower solution machine, and its fine head is transferred to the tank. As a result of the pouring cycle, and if the engine is pneumatic, the dishes are detected after passing through the sensor. The container and, when their number reaches the quorum, corresponding to the number of nozzles, block the entrance port, and the PLC commands the solution to fall from the nozzles.


They are passed under steam nozzles to ensure no air is left inside canned. This causes rise the temperature of the can, leading to the expulsion of air. If any water vapor remains inside the can after closing & cooling the autoclave, it will condense and create a vacuum. This process helps preserve the quality of the canned food and prevents spoilage.

Glass jar-capping

Glass cans filled with Pickled are transferred into the device using a transfer tape. The can lid’s rail places the glass doors in the path of the glass so that when the glass passes under the can lid’s rail, the edge of the glass is stuck to the edge of the door. The glass can is moved under the head of the capping machine, and it is fixed to the can by the head of the device.

Pasteur tunnel

After capping, cans or jars are placed inside the Pasteur tunnel device. After that, the final cooking and pasteurization of the contents inside the can and glass will take place. The Pasteur Tunnel has 3 stages hot water, lukewarm water, and cold water. In three stages, hot water, lukewarm water, and cold water are showered on the cans and jars respectively.

Label Shrink

In glass packaging, to show that the manufacturer seals the packaging, a nylon label should be placed on  lid & body of the glass to cover both. For this purpose, a label shrink device is used; the label roll is placed on the edge of the glass and is cut, then it is heated inside the element tunnel until the nylon above is shaped into the shape of door & body of the glass.

Label Maker

In the glass packaging of pickled cucumber, a label is used to display the brand name and the information of the producer of pickled cucumber. A label is used to display the brand name. At this stage, during contact with jars and label roll, the back of the label is opened, and the label sticks to the jars. All of these steps take place automatically without operator intervention.

Jet Printer

The jet printer prints production information including product code in the factory, production date, expiration date, and product price. By placing cans or jars on the transmission tape rail and passing under the jet printer nozzle, first, it identifies the presence of a can or glass and prints the information automatically.

Shrink pack

To transport canning jars in multiples easily, they should be shrinking. For this purpose, the shrink-pack device is used. The operator first places the glasses on the short-edge cartons in multiples and places them on the sheeting tape. The pneumatic jack guides the carton into the machine’s tunnel to be placed inside the heat tunnel of the Shrink Pack machine in addition to the nylon pull. After being heated, the nylon sheeting sticks to the body of the glasses takes their shape, then cools down and comes out of the machine.

Cucumbers are usually prepared in the form of barrels, baskets, and bags from the farmer, and these cucumbers are used after grading (sorting) according to the order requested by the customer. But generally, the grading of cucumbers includes premium, special, super unique, and null and more giant cucumbers, each with a defined length and diameter size, premium, unique, super special cucumbers for packing inside the glass.
